The weather report for July 19 features lots of storms, especially over the next few days. A cold front is quickly approaching the area, and a trough of low pressure is already over the Carolinas. Both these features will help to develop numerous showers and thunderstorms, especially late on Thursday and Friday. The storms could be severe, causing strong winds and hail. Remember the saying "When the thunder roars, Go indoors!" Included in this map package is a different forecast graphic, the HPC total precipitation. This is the esitmated total precipitation over the next 48 hours until Friday Night.
