A major heat wave may be on tap for the Carolinas, but before that, a very nice Tuesday is expected. Temperatures Tuesday will barely make it into the 80s. This heat wave could feature temperatures making a run towards 100 degrees. Models are still showing great uncertainty with the track of Debby. This ridge of high pressure that is bringing the warm temperatures is also going to cause Debby to linger to the south. The question is where does it travel after the next few days, into the open Atlantic or northward towards the Carolinas. We will have more information about the heat wave and the tropical weather in the next few days.
